Guests receive admission to Nauticus AND a self-guided tour of the Battleship Wisconsin.

Nauticus and the Battleship Wisconsin are closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Please call for other holiday hours. Closing procedures for the Battleship Wisconsin begin 15 minutes before close and the ship will be closed in the event of inclement weather.

Guided Tours

Take a deeper look into the Battleship Wisconsin with a guided-tour! Our experts will show you areas not open to the public and share the stories of the WisKy. Each participant must also purchase an admission ticket to participate in the tour. Limited spaces are available and there are multiple tours each day. Tours can be purchased online or at the Front Admissions Desk.

GUIDED COMMAND AND CONTROL TOUR: Explore the areas of Battleship Wisconsin with a historical interpreter and learn how the Battleship was commanded and would fight in the control areas of the ship including the Captain’s Cabin, Pilot House, and Combat Engagement Center.

Each participant must also purchase an admission ticket to participate in the tour. 90 Minutes Long

GUIDED LIFE IN THE ENGINE ROOM TOUR: This fascinating tour takes visitors seven “decks” (aka floors) down in the depths of the Battleship Wisconsin, where they’ll learn exactly what was required to power this massive City at Sea. See up close, never-before-open-to-the-public engine room spaces aboard the Battleship Wisconsin

Each participant must also purchase an admission ticket to participate in the tour. 60 Minutes Long

THE LIVING SEA: The Living Sea celebrates the beauty, power, and importance of the ocean. Underscored by the music of Sting and narrated by Meryl Streep, the motion picture explores our relationship with the sea.

Main Theater: 11 a.m. & 1 p.m., 77 minutes long

USS WISCONSIN: THE LAST BATTLESHIP: Discover why the Battleship Wisconsin is truly the most unique battleship in the world. Experience the excitement and nostalgia as the world’s largest guns fire from the deck for the last time. This half-hour documentary chronicles the life of the Battleship Wisconsin and the courageous men who went to war with her.
