Nauticus Museum

Nauticus offers a unique waterfront venue for your next corporate event or family reunion! Please schedule a consultation to learn about current availability.

With seating for up to 350 people, this location is ideal for presentations, performances, and award ceremonies. It features a large-format screen.
Enjoy spectacular waterfront views from the Elizabeth River Landing which includes nearly 12,000 square feet of our new state-of-the-art exhibit spaces, Design. Build. Sail. and Our Port.

Battleship Wisconsin

Berthed at Nauticus, the Battleship Wisconsin is one of the largest and last battleships ever built by the U.S. Navy. Your guests will be transported back in time as they walk the teakwood decks of this majestic ship that earned six battle stars in World War II and Korea.

Military Ceremonies Aboard Battleship Wisconsin — Temporary Pause
The Hampton Roads Naval Museum is not booking military ceremonies aboard the Battleship Wisconsin for the remainder of 2025 as Nauticus hosts WinterFest. Details about 2026 ceremonies will be shared in January. Questions? Please refer to the Hampton Roads Naval Museum website here.

Seating capacity is dependent on table placement, while up to 600 standing guests can be accommodated.
The main deck of the battleship features inspiring views of the gun turrets and Norfolk’s city skyline.
Up to 250 guests can be seated in this area and up to 500 standing guests can be accommodated.
The fantail is the large open outdoor area on the aft of the battleship, perfect for enjoying the sunsets on the Elizabeth River.

Populated with period tables and chairs, it can accommodate 80 pampered guests.
The Wardroom is where officers had their meals and relaxed.

Seated capacity is 60 with standing capacity of 120.
In this area on the main deck behind the breakwater, your guests can dine under the imposing shadows of the Wisconsin’s big guns.

Schooner Virginia

Private Charter
Make the Schooner Virginia yours for the day with a private charter on the Elizabeth River. Perfect for celebrations, corporate outings, group gatherings, and special occasions, private charters accommodate up to 55 guests and include a three-hour sail for $3,500.
Private charters are available April through October and must be booked at least 4–6 weeks in advance. All charters subject to crew and volunteer availability.
