Inspiration happens when you discover together! Nauticus offers group rates for adventure-seekers headed our way with 15 or more guests. From reunions and scouting groups to social clubs and hobbyists, families, networking groups and more.

Corporate Team Building

Challenge your team in a thought-provoking environment with an array of options. Nauticus’ team building, and networking opportunities help to foster team unity and make a lasting impression.

Team building opportunities at Nauticus include an underwater robotics challenge, Battleship Escape Room and sailing experiences with the option to race your co-workers along the Elizabeth River. Add an hour of networking time (Happy Hour) with a variety of food and drink options through our onsite cafe.

Underwater Robotics Challenge Course

For groups 10-20.

Participants will be in a race against the clock and their co-workers as they complete mission tasks with their underwater robots (ROV – Remotely Operated Vehicles). This 90-minute workshop is designed to develop strong technical, problem-solving, critical thinking and team building skills. This ticket includes general admission to Nauticus for the same day.

Price: $25pp

Escape Ship

For groups 2-10

It’s 1989 and a Russian spy posing as an ambassador has just left his room onboard the Battleship Wisconsin. Your mission is to discover his plans and dismantle them before it’s too late. You have exactly one hour. Can you beat the clock?

Price: Escape Ship is temporarily closed due to COVID 19. Contact reservations for more details.

Corporate Overnight

If you are a local or out-of-town business looking for something unique and fun with teambuilding, come spend the night on the Historic Battleship Wisconsin! Enjoy relaxed informal conversations with enlisted Navy volunteers and retired Navy Officers. Hear personal stories, ask questions, and see areas of the ship, not open to the public. Also, enjoy a group team-building activity. and sleep in the original enlisted men’s berthing.

Included: Overnight aboard the battleship, a VIP guided tour of the ship with our experienced tour guides, and a teambuilding activity. In the morning enjoy breakfast in the Officers Wardroom.

Add on: Dinner in the Officer’s Wardroom (dining room), alcohol may also be requested in advance. We can also supply a projector and screen and microphone if needed.

Price: $120 per adult. 
*We must have a minimum of 20 people to proceed with the Overnight and a maximum of 100 total for the evening.
*Dates depend on Battleship availability, year around, weekends, and weekdays.

Sail Nauticus: Group Outings

Our Sail Nauticus program features many opportunities to engage your team in a fun, outdoor environment aboard our Harbor 20 fleet.

Group Lessons:
Have your group learn the basics of sailing in our 2-hour first sail experience where we teach basic terminology and boat handling. Everyone will have the opportunity to learn how to trim the sails and steer. Custom classes can be arranged.
Price: $250/boat (4 max per boat).

The Racing Experience:
Sailboat racing is the ultimate team building experience as it takes the entire crew to work together to make the boat move at its optimal speed. This introduction to racing will begin with learning the basics of sailing followed by several short course races. The racing experience is a 4-hour event.

Price: $400/boat (4 max per boat)

We customize and tailor programs to best fit your groups needs. Catering and event venue rental options available as well.

When is payment due?
How long does it take to tour Nauticus?
Your group can spend as much or as little time exploring as you like; our recommendation is about 1-2 hours for group visits. A self-guided tour through the Battleship Wisconsin takes an average 45 minutes but is absolutely flexible. Add-on Adventures are 45 mins.
What food options are available?

Enjoy our two restaurants: BB64 Cafe located inside of Nauticus on the main floor & The Big Wisky Porch located outside on the Nauticus porch!
