Our esteemed panel includes Jean-Michel Margot, the Vice-President (and former president) of the North American Jules Verne Society and an eminent international Verne expert; Luc Dauvillier, an author of graphic novel adaptation of Jules Verne (notably Journey to the Center of the Earth), Dr. Peter Schulman, ODU Professor of French and International Studies and also a Verne scholar and translator of his novels and plays, and the Executive Director of the Nauticus, Stephen Kirkland. Moderated by the Nauticus Education Department!

During this live webinar our panel will discuss how Jules Verne’s works have captured the imagination of readers of all ages as he continues to be relevant and important to today’s society in terms of great literature, science and the notion of wonder.
