Save our Oceans with STEAM Saturdays!

Saturday, April 17- Battleship Wisconsin Birthday Bash & Saturday, April 24- Earth Day

Time: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Fee: $15.95/adult (13+) & $11.50/child (4-12, children 3 and under are free)

STEAM Saturdays feature an exclusive look into Nauticus’ new traveling exhibition by National Geographic, Planet or Plastic?, focused on the global plastic pollution crisis with educator led STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) activities and exploration aboard the Battleship Wisconsin. Participants can also pilot an underwater robot, meet aquatic animals while learning about the health of our local waterways and more. All activities are designed to meet scout requirements. Don’t forget to check out our special event day patches available for purchase in our Banana Pier Gift Shop! Ps. Girl Scouts can also purchase their Explore Nauticus Patch in the gift shop!

Reservations and Questions:

All attending youth must be accompanied by an adult for his/her visit.

Battleship Wisconsin Overnights

Have you ever wanted to spend the night on a ship? Overnights aboard the Battleship Wisconsin are open to families and youth groups of all kinds including Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. These awesome events are offered on various dates and can sleep up to 142 guests. They include a one-day Admission to Nauticus, a special VIP tour of Battleship areas not open to the public, team building activities, an evening movie, sleeping in battleship berthing (beds), and a full hot breakfast in the morning. 

Sail Nauticus Day with Girl Scouts

Sail Nauticus offers a Girl Scout Sailing Day on Sunday, April 25th, 2021, for those interested in an outdoor, on-the-water adventure. During this 2-hour experience, learn the very basics of sailing, have the opportunity to skipper a boat, and coordinate the boat crew. This gives them a chance to gain self-confidence and explore leadership, communication and teamwork skills in a fun, outdoor setting. 

Explore Nauticus Patch Program for Girl Scouts

Take a self-guided tour of Nauticus and the Battleship Wisconsin to see all of the fun and educational exhibits and programs that we have to offer on any open day and complete your age level requirements to earn an Explore Nauticus Patch! Have fun discovering, connecting, and taking action on your exploration hunt!
