Homeschool students and their families are invited to spend a day of exploration, discovery, and hands-on learning at Nauticus on Tuesday, September 22, from 10AM–5PM. Homeschool Day admission includes access to Nauticus and the Battleship Wisconsin for just $12 per person!

STEM Challenge: 11AM–2PM
Set sail on an exciting STEM adventure as homeschoolers of all ages explore the skills behind today’s maritime careers! Join Nauticus Educators in The Lab for an open workshop featuring hands-on engineering and problem-solving challenges. Test your reflexes like a crane operator, design and build a boat from recycled materials to see how much weight it can hold, and tackle additional activities inspired by real-world maritime careers. Drop in anytime during the workshop and stay as long as you’d like!

Behind-the-Glass Aquarium Experience: 12PM–12:30PM
Go behind the scenes of Nauticus’ aquarium for an exclusive look at how our animals are cared for every day. Meet the species that call our aquarium home, learn about their daily care, and help our aquarists feed the animals during lunchtime.
