How does the debarkation process work (getting off the ship)?
The night before arriving back in Norfolk, passengers will be asked to place all luggage outside their cabin door. Stewards will collect the luggage and store it in a locked area overnight. Norfolk is one of the few ports in the country that utilizes a system called “Express Debark.” Essentially, if guests are able to carry/roll their own luggage, they’ll be called off the vessel before those with color-coded tags. Please note this is only the case if you are traveling with Carnival.
