Sail Voyagers is an advanced sailing camp, for students who have prior sailing experience, or who have attended a Sail Quest camp with us in the past. Campers will learn more advanced sailing techniques, including being able to cruise safely in local waters and planning their own voyage. They will refine their skills learned in Sail Quest, while also learning reefing, docking, anchoring , and man overboard drills. While on land, campers will learn chart reading, plotting, coastal navigation skills, and the concepts of currents and how they function. They will also learn the important role of tides and weather and how to predict them in order to help plan their own sailing voyage.
If Summer Camps isn’t your thing, Sail Nauticus also offers group sailing opportunities, structured to fit your goals and desires. Participants can enjoy a leisurely sail, friendly competition, games, and other on the water activities. All ages, group sizes, and time frames are welcome.
